FORM ONE

FORM1: it is the base form made up of the three root leters. All other forms are derived from the first form or FORM1. This is called "thulaathi mujarrad" verbs in Arabic. The exemplary verb fa'Ala is used for conjugation.

* أَخَذَ - يَأْخُذُ (akhadha, ya'khudhu)[a-kh-dh][أَ-خ-ذ][FORM-1] (To take, seize, catch, accept a covenant) 35:26 akhadhtu = I seized.
